if you had a 16 year old daughter who was strictly mates with a boy would you let them sleep at their house? My mums saying its not normal and its really bugging me!! What do you think?

being a father. id say it wasnt normal either, but circumstances may differ. my 16 year old would be staying over at a boys house but thats me.
theres alot that can happen even if you are "strictly friends" just remember that your mums trying to look out for you.
i know i couldnt forgive myself if anything happened to my daughter

16 might be a bit young but my grandson is 18 and his lovely g/f is 17.. His mum lets her stay at weekends with him .. They both have college to attend in the week so it is felt they should devote their weekday energies to their studies...Her mum seems quite happy with this.. Actually the girl seems to prefer being at my grandsons.. My daughter feels she has gained a daughter in her household ...

no way.... even if my daughter was 21 i wouldnt let a guy stay over at my house, especially in the same room as her.
your mum did the right thing by not letting him

Your 16, i see nothing wrong with it. At 16 you are LEGAL for to have sex. However, if i was the parent i would not allow it..
But if i was the 16 year old i would be maddddddd =)

No. At 16 honey you should be sleeping at home. Go out with guys have fun whatever...but you should be sleeping at home out of respect for your mom if not yourself.

seems fine if theres a reason like your going out somewhere in the morning. you clearly want to have sex tho. so just engineer somthing, say you r going out a bike trip in the morning and ur leavin early. then just go 4 it-worked 4 me and ma 'mate' lol, i couldnt beleive it. or just go campin-not as nice tho-done that as well.

u shouldn't be sleeping at a guys hse at age 16, u too young, ur mum's right, listen to her.

I'd be phoning his parents on the night to make sure they were ok with it.. But she's (you are) 16 now and technically she (you)could get married, so assuming you (she) brought her (you) up well I suppose she (you) can do what (you) she like(s).
