If he is adopted, you really don't have a right to him anymore. Someone decided to take care of him when you and your family either couldn't or wouldn't, so let him be happy. It's not like they just hand the dog to any person who wants it, they do interview so I'm sure he is in a happy home.

Oh that is a hard question, I have been there before. We found a stray dog once and I called animal control and we wanted to keep him but they said I had to bring him in. So I took him in and filled out all the paper work to adopt him. We went in every day to visit except Sunday and they were closed. After work on Monday I went to pick him up and they had put him to sleep. He was a pit bull and they did it because of his breed. I wrote the local newspaper and they did a story on it, but it did not bring my dog back. Unfortunately you will not get your beloved pet back. If I were you I would look for another dog and give it a good home and know that your puppy is in a good loving home now. Sorry, but for whatever reason you did chose to give him up for adoption.

Unfortunately, you're going to have to let him go. I know that's not what you wanted to hear, but if someone has adopted him, that means they planned to give him a good, loving, nurturing home - there's nothing to worry about. He's okay. There will be other puppies in your life that you will love, and that will love you back even more!

Sorry to hear the you gave your dogs away. I know it is hard but you have to push threw it. Ask your mom for another pet or something. Time heals all things and im sure the people who addopted him are taking good care of him.

i think that if it going to bother you then you should, but think about it if you find your puppy and you go to see it. the puppy might think you are coming to take him home so it might not be a good idea. the puppy will have to start all over on being without you.

No, you should try and find your puppy. Try putting up signs and thinking of a place where your puppy could of ran.
