(sneak by adding them to your contacts and sending them a message that you are their "fan" -- for the sole purpose of causing their account to be deleted/suspended.)

It is one of the many flaws of this forum that someone is able to do so. I think we should have the option of accepting or rejecting a new contact before they are given access to our account information. I have fired up the computer many times to find someone that is "contact collecting" while I was away from the computer. If I don't know them and can not collect enough history on them to make sure they are not a threat, I block them and send a polite email explaining why. If they have their email closed, oh well. Most don't email me back, of the ones that have, many are in my contacts. I never add myself to anothers contacts without first asking for an invite.

It's rude, it's downright nasty, it's....it's....it's....

....left me red in the face and waving a finger, realising I've stopped mid-sentence, but not being able to say anything coherent just yet.

May peace go with you throughout your life

(ummm. could you do me a favour? I asked a Q in Health just now, but it's dead over there. I need more helpful answers than I've had, so if we could....spread the word a little? It would help me no end)

Doing anything to get another person's account to be deleted is being mean to that person and it is a sin.

Hmmmm I don't think there is a specific sin other than

thou shall not do mean things just for the fun of it

the eleventh commandment

It isn't a sin, but I sure wouldn't do it. It's a little mean, don't you think? I guess, in the end, karma will get you every time. Might not be soon, but sooner or later. ;)

The karma caused by sneaky unfair reporting will catch up with you later.

Whether or not it is, some of my "Fellow Mormons" have been doing it to me.

Yes, it is the sin of a troll. I think they go to troll ....... ask the fundamentalists.

(Note, it was nice when we could use the word "fundies" to shortened the word "fundamentalists". I changed it because it has come to mean a dirogatory word that I didn't mean. I love them sincerely although I am not one.)

I'd say it was just about the lowest thing a person could do. It could be put under coveting they neighbors goods I think.

yes, it is.

it's all part of what most religions teach...do unto others as you would have them do unto you...harm none...the golden rule.

it's very sad, but i have my profile on private now. if someone wants to be my contact i check their profile first. it shouldn't have to be this way.
