Floss every day. There will probably be blood at first. Do this morning, noon, and night until the blood stops. Then once a day will probably be enough. Get an appointment with your dentist to clean your teeth. If you have no dentist and there is a dental school nearby, have it done there. However, I'm just saying, get your teeth cleaned right away. However, you will need a dentist to evaluate the health of your teeth--fill cavities, remove dead teeth. However, floss and brush right now. Be sure to brush your tongue as well. If your teeth are brown, use baking soda to brush your teeth front and back. It will freshen your mouth and remove more of the color. Brush your teeth at least 2 minutes each time you brush and then brush your tongue.

You cant cure any damage that has already occurred, but you can try to prevent any further damage to teeth and gums.
Have your teeth properly cleaned by a hygienist and any cavities filled by the dentist.
If you have bleeding gums try rubbing gingigel in them every evening at bedtime but maintain your cleaning and flossing regime.
Buy an alectric toothbrush - they are more effective than hand brushing.
If you have any gaps through lost teeth either get some permanent screw in teeth or a bridge or plate so you can smile with confidence.
