On you need to drop the first 0 before the area code. If the number you're dialing is in the Republic, the code for the Republic is 353. Drop the first 0 after this, and see how you get on.

If you're faxing from Europe dial 00 353 then your number.
If you're faxing from the U.S. dial 011 353 then your number.
