Any chemicals can be harmful, if not lethal, to your dog. Don't allow drinking out of the toilet. This should be completely within your control, since you can close the bathroom door and the cover on the toilet. Always have fresh water available for your dog.

always keep the lid down. i have too because my husky will have his thirst quenched when ever the lid is up. i keep fresh water on each floor and outside to make sure he has enough to drink where ever he is. i would think the blue toilet water has dye in it that might harm a dog if he is continually drinking it,so just keep the water bucket full and the lid down to be on the safe side, and when your dog gives you an unexpected kiss you will know his tongue was not in the toilet bowl before he got ya.

Alot of those cleaners have bleach in them. Do not let your dog, cat whatever drink out of the toilet. They need clean fresh water several times a day.

To be on the safe side don't use those automatic toilet bowl cleaners. Someone will forget to close the bathroom door or put the lid down. Better to be safe than sorry.

Keep the lid down or the bathroom door closed if you are worried, I wouldn't put any chemicals down the toilet until you train them out of it.

Usually those products are very toxic to pets, so it's always best to keep the lid closed so they don't have access to the water. Just make sure they have plenty of fresh water in their regular bowl.

Keep your toilet closed. If it's going to be an issue keeping the seat down.. don't put anything in the toilet that contains chemicals.

DO NOT LET YOUR DOG DRINK OUT OF THE TOILET!! they can contract all sorts of nasty bacteria and become very very ill. and the blue things? THOSE ARE TOXIC!! most of them contain bleach. read the ingredients and i am pretty sure it states "hazardous if ingested" or something to that effect.
