Is there a strict diet I can do for a month? I have a wedding to go to and I want to look better than I do now. I want to lose at least 10 pounds by the end of november. What would be a good diet plan. Plus I can go to the gym 2 to 3 times a week.
Thanks!

I appreciate that the other answerer thinks you need to change your whole life - but really - who wants to do that. If you need to crunch into a killer dress or whatever, you dont' want to overhaul your life. So here is the link: http://home.cfl.rr.com/marty/diet.html This is known as the U.S. Ski Team Diet. You stay on it for two weeks and can lose a great deal of weight (close to 15/20 lbs). It is a good idea to work out during this time. I was on it for a month when going into the service and lost 38 pounds in a month. So everyone knows - this isn't a good or even a smart thing - but we are just people and vanity is usually a much better motivator than major life change.

A university dietitian once to,ld me the perfect diet. There is none. It's healthy eating and exercises. Here's my tip,

Breakfast : Fruit juice and a slice of toast or a bowl of cereal unsugared like corn flakes and milk

Midday meal : Pasta and salad, tuna or chicken. Fruit juice or water. A piece of fruit

Dinner : Lots of fresh vegetables a little meat or fish. Fruit juice. Fruit.

In between meals eat fresh fruit, an apple or orange or banana.

Eat as many fresh vegetables, boiled as you wish and fresh fruit./ Avoid processed ready made meals. hamburgers and fried foods. Take plenty of exercises. Not too much alcohol as , although alcohol is not fattening, it slows down your metabolism for digesting fats in the diet. Don't smoke. Drink plenty of water based drinmks, cordials or plain water, at least 5 litres a day.

That should do it.

You're thinking in the wrong terms. Think in terms of cultivating healthy habits that will last you a lifetime. Exercise and eat sensibly and your weight will stabilize at a level that is right for you.
