of corse it was in the middle ages, it was the only Christian faith around, because it was started by Our Lord Jesus Christ in 33 AD. The other religions have their beginings in the 1500's, but many didnt come around until the 1800's. Im sure Chirst would not abandon his people by withholding his church for 1500 yrs. after he died, no, of corse not!! The catholic church has existed in all ages since Chirst, nothing can destroy her because Jesus said the gates of hell shall not prevail against her!!! Long live Jesus's church!!!!

Uh... no. By your own statement, you admit to the truth of the Church since there was no Protestantism until 1500 leaving only the Catholic Church as the only Christian church in existence, which history proves.

Jesus did not fail, except to the extent that his ideas have been distorted, to made him out to not be as nice a person, as he really was. A lot of his best ideas have made it through time to now. But the spirit of Jesus continues, and people can pray to him directly, to get a better interpretation of God and the spiritual, that is, if they believe. If not, God will give them answers, if they can find the best way for them, to connect with God, and work hard at it. Mind-body exercises ,meditation, and a good diet can help. God expect you to work at being a good person, and at connecting with him/her. A moral God does not reward laziness.

The Catholic church was not the only church through the middle ages. They were just one of the more influential churches.
Then there is the matter of how one defines, "church."

Nice try, muzzie. Humans, as always, failed.
CJ, Catholicism is not a cult and starts with a capital C.
Sounds like you are very angry at God.

The catholic cult began with Constantine in 300 AD. True Christians always existed outside of it at all periods of time, and avoided it because catholics teach a false gospel of works that leads to eternal hell.
The first Christians were all Jews, and God used Jews to give us the Bible.
