I wish I could say my dogs could do this to me... the last time my Saint tried she ended up running into my stomach :) Pony rides anyone??

Dogs see a space where they can fit, where they can walk under... they will try. Just like kids.

I believe that mine do this because they love me. Just like a dog rubs against your arm to be petted. I personally like this and don't see any harm unless they come at me at an awkard angle and almost trip me, then I get mad at them for almost tripping me.
Other than that, who know and who cares.

If dogs were taller, we'd walk between theirs.

Mine don't! They are far too well mannered!

EDIT: erm, no, it's the TRUTH! Whilst my dogs are far from perfect, they do display very good 'manners'. When I say manners, I refer to the space and respect they afford me as leader, and so of COURSE they don't interfere with my path from A-B.
Please don't presume, or assume anything about me or mine! I will return the courtesy x
