My state law says that if you're shorter than 4'9" then you need to be in a booster seat ... and well, I know many Asian's who are 4'8" & I don't wanna lower their dignaty by asking them to sit in a booster chair ... what do I do???

First of all, it's not just Asians. They don't have a monopoly on being short. And why do you feel you have to say anything to them at all?

They're fully aware of all the modifications that may be needed on their vehicles without anyone reminding them.

Typically there is an age limitation, too. Don't worry about them. In my state and maybe yours, the person who doesn't use a seatbelt is the one who gets the ticket, not the driver. I suspect it would be the same in this case.

Put them in the trunk. Works like a charm and no one is the wiser. Beside, how much of a fight can a 4'8 person put up? LOL

i wouldn't worry about it, if your taller than 4'9, then just worry about yourself. they go by age and weight also, not just height.
