Almost two weeks ago, i noticed that in between my bottom lip and chin i had a small rash, it was really red but it didn't really itch. at first it looked like dry skin but it hasn't left yet, and it looks like if someone scratched me. its not really big and its not really noticeable from far away unless you pay close attention to my face. what can it be?

It could be as simple as dry skin, but it also can be eczsam. If you lick the bottom of your lip alot that will cause a rash. That can be it.

Is it a small reddish patch, possibly with whitish scales? You may have eczema. It's hereditary, and with me it started when I was in my late teens. Check with your doctor--there is a medication out now that can treat it. I haven't gotten mine filled yet (my dog ate it--really!), but my doctor described it as feeling a little like motor oil.

it could be any number of things. dry skin or acne is most likely, but there are hundreds of skin conditions too. the problem is, you can't be sure. if it's dry skin, lotion will help, but if it's acne, lotion will make it worse. if it's acne, an acne wash will help, but that makes dry skin worse. if it really starts to bother you, see a dermatologist
