Like guys who like to shop, smell good and take care of themselves? I mean not those guys that are a complete fruit cake. I'm the type who will take my time to get ready if I'm going on a hot date with a girl or if I was going out in public. So my question is Would you rather have a guy who is kind of metro (but not to the extreme)?

-I'm straight but I like to represent a good appearance.

I dated a metro guy, and as much as my sister's ex didn't admit it, I think he was too. Personally, I don't find it attractive. I like guys to look good and take care of themselves, but no guy should take over 20 minutes to get ready. And that's even taking a lot of time, at least for a guy.

Of course, personally I feel that if a guy takes care of himself he is more attractive. There is nothing like a man that looks and smells good, it says a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now dont get me wrong if your in the mirror more than I am I do feel thats a problem. But other than that its all good to stay feash and clean. There are so many guys that just get up and go so its good to find a few that take pride in the way they look for a change.

I don't call that type of man metrosexual; to me, that represents something else entirely. You should try to look your best if you're going on a date. I don't like it when men don't shower or shave or when they look scruffy. Based on your definition of metro, that's completely fine.

A guy who cares about his appearance (and that of his home) is kewl...it's quite possible to care about those things and still be a very manly-man. ☺
