sorry, but she has to let the law handle it. she has to go through the pain of relating her experience to law enforcement, then hope that they actually get the guy. then she has to relive the experience again in a courtroom. then she has to watch some judge let the guy off with some BS sentence that's not as severe as a pot smoker would get. then she gets to count the days until the bastard gets out. and finally she gets to live in fear knowing that the guy is back on the streets......and justice for all.

Yes she can be. A revenge killing is still considered a crime. The only way that would not happen is if it happened during the same period such as right after the rape ( i.e. the minute, the hour after the assault) and he was still with her. Then she can claim self defense because she was in fear of her life.

The idea of revenge seems to connotate some planning and permeditation of behalf of the rape victim. Under those circumstances, and my sympathies to her for her ordeal, I'd have to say she could very well be charged if not convicted of murder.

Ofcourse she would be charged and arrested - first she would have to prove it, when she has then i reckon there should be a life sentence for such a disgusting crime - but you cant go around killing people just for revenge its not good!

She will still be placed under arrest and questioned. Maybe jailed for a while, and tried. But those circumstances are considered by a jury of peers who condemn or exonerate her.

she would probably be arrested and charged, but there's a good chance she wouldn't get convicted. it often depends on if she killed him during/ immediately after being raped, or later (difference between manslaughter and murder)

She should be, but might get a lighter sentence if she can prove the rape...but stranger things have happened...like in Tennessee it is ok to shoot your husband in the back and kill him if he had made you dress like a hooker...go figure...

She will certainly be arrested and charged. In a situation like this, there will be some prosecutor who will think he/she can win.
