Well, the best remedy is to find out why she chews her paws, so you can stop it. Not normal.

Your main concern should be the cause of her chewing. Often chewing of feet is an indication of an allergy and you really should discuss this with your Vet. Very often it's a food allergy and you can experiment at home to find the problems.

I took one of my dogs off all the usual foods and put her on Nature's Recipe Vegetarian kibble. Her allergy symptoms went away immediately! I then would re-introduce a meat product for about 2 weeks to see how she did on that added to the kibble. We found one culprit of her symptoms was turkey.

I also don't think dogs need grains in their food. Taste of the Wild is a totally grain free food and is very healthy for the dogs. I get mine at my local feed and grain store but you can look them up on the internet and get a location in your area for who sells it. It really is a great food!

If the food isn't the dog's only allergies, discuss it further with your Vet as to what some of the other common allergins could be. It's basically trial an error to ferret out the culprits.

Bring her to the vet and maybe he can help you get to the cause. Good luck. 2D
