it is a blinking disorder...The term blepharospasm really applies to any abnormal blinking or involuntary eye twitching of the eyelids caused by uncontrolled contractions of the muscles around the eyelids.
Eye Twitching, for most people, is just annoying, involuntary eye muscles spasm surrounding the eye that go away over time. The spasms usually occur a few times and come back. Spasms that cause twitching on one side of the face are known as hemifacial spasms.
Causes of it is dry eyes...Stress
Irritation of the Cornea or Conjunctiva
Fatigue
Lack of sleep
Prolonged staring at a computer screen or television
Nervous system disorders

Ya know, anything from stress to high blood pressure can cause twitching of the eye. What you need to do is go into your normal Dr. and have them take a look, or if your due for your routine eye exam, go in to see your optometrist. They will do a thorough eye examination on you, and can tell you whats going on, whether it is stress, or ocular hypertension!
