No, open office does not have a pdf converter (unless they just added it).
Try PDF 995. Its a free driver that will add a printer to you printer list that will let you print to a pdf file to all your programs so you can print anything as a pdf that you can print on paper.

Probably not, but you should be able to "print" straight from Quickbooks to a PDF file. If you're using Mac OS X, you can do this from the PDF menu in the Print dialog; on Windows, you'll need a program such as PDFCreator.

Edit: the_prankster is wrong. OpenOffice does have an export to PDF option; however, it only works on files that OpenOffice can read.

You should be able to create a PDF file directly from Quickbooks, however if you are unable to do so, an alternative is using a PDF printer driver program to create PDF files.

Download Solid PDF Creator from: http://www.soliddocuments.com/download.htm?product=SolidPDFCreator
(this is a free program with a nag screen only)

Once this is in stalled, from whatever you have open, you can choose the option to PRINT and choose SOLID PDF CREATOR as you printer in the print dialogue box. This will create your pdf file for you quickly and easily.
