The brief reply is that the priest is status within the position of Jesus throughout the party of the eucharist. Jesus got here to Earth as a person. To have a females stand within the role of Jesus is absurd. The Catechism of the Catholic Church can inform you extra. The Catholic Church reveres Mary, the mum of Jesus, above some other mere human. Anyone who calls the Catholic Church misogynist is both seriously misinformed approximately The Church, or the character is a blatant liar.

There are no female priests recognised by the Catholic Church. Some females have partaken in illegal "ordination" services but immediately ex-communicated by the Church.
The Universal Church recognises only a male order of priesthood. Personally, as a Roman Catholic, I would like to think that I may see the day when a female may legitimately be ordained a priest.

No. And there are no female priests in the Lutheran tradition. Female ministers, maybe, but not female priests.

There are some renegade Catholic women who like to call themselves priests and illicitly "celebrate Mass" but by doing so, they violate several church laws and excommunicate themselves.

The Catholic Church currently teaches:

The Lord Jesus chose men to form the college of the twelve apostles, and the apostles did the same when they chose collaborators to succeed them in their ministry.

The Church recognizes herself to be bound by this choice made by the Lord himself. For this reason the ordination of women is not possible.

For more information see the Catechism of the Catholic Church, sections 1577: http://www.usccb.org/catechism/text/pt2sect2chpt3.htm#1577

Currently women are not officially allowed to be priests in the Catholic Church. If any "rogue" bishops installed one, there are very few of them.

No- in the Catholic Church, the priesthood is ONLY male.

Some women have attempted to be ordained- but it simply isn't possible. Women are not ordainable.

there have been some rogue Bishops that have installed/consecrated (I don't know the correct terminology) women as priests, but none of these have been accepted by the Church authorities.

I personally wouldn't follow a woman priest. Just personal preference.

Not yet, the Catholic church will not allow it.

Scared to say it, but it is unbiblical to have a woman as a leader in the church.
