has nightmares still, one parent dies, the other is sinister, prefers their sibs, no relationship because that parent is still crazy-abusive, they all (parents, sibs) "got away with" tons of abuse of every kind, the other parent is going to leave out the scapegoat kid from the (substantial) will, the other sibs just want more of the take...is there anything that the youngest abused kid can do before the last (abusive) parent dies, legally? Once that happens, all the assets will be scattered to the winds. The "statute of limitations" has long since run out, unless current nightmares make a difference.

I do consider the money "dirty", but it seems the greatest injustice of all that the others still get somehow rewarded, i.e. the last laugh.

Sounds excatly like my situation. Only thing was I was very close to my dad who died. As a child my mother treated me as you were treated. She gave all of my siblings something that had belonged to my dad after his death I got nothing. But I do have the one thing she couldnt prevent me from having, all the wonderful memories of him and how his love kept me alive during my childhood. I agree with the above post move on and away from those who are toxic or else you will never be happy.

get over your past, leave it and the family behind you , make your own life. You aren't likely to see any of that money, and frankly I can't imagine why you would want a thing from the bastards.
