All the people who claim eating disorders come from"tv" and "magazines" are sadly ignorant. Eating disorders come about when someone needs to feel control. You can control what goes in your body, hence your weight, but you cannot control the things happening around you. Eating disorders are more popular amongst children of divorced parents, children of drug users, and people with financial problems. Some people's answer to stress is to stop eating, sometimes they get carried away and it develops into a disorder. It has NOTHING to do with tv or magazien ads, if it did everyone would have an eating disorder.

can you watch american tv and ask that question? if the commercials and shows aren't about food, they are about anorexic looking men and women that are put forth as role models. It's amazing more people don't have eating disorders.
