and that she is going to burn in hell for eternity without the love of Jesus Christ in her life?

I've been dropping a lot of hints lately. About the spaghetti I mean. I really don't want her making me penne again this Friday.

Jinenglish,

My first lie is that I DON'T have a girlfriend?

Shouldn't you at least get your put downs written correctly? Why must I have to deal with you people?

Aren't you a walking oxyMORON - A warrior wouldn't lie, is loving and accepting, while a xtian is just full of bullshit stories and trying to convince people how they're going to hell instead of focusing on being an honest individual and being non-judgmental.

Step 1: Remember that only the Spirit convicts the soul.

Step 2: Have an open, honest conversation with her about her beliefs. Understand where she is in her spiritual walk, if she's vehemently atheist or just conveniently atheist. While you and I believe that Christ Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, trouncing her beliefs with yours is ineffective and ultimately disrespectful of her independence. And you might find yourself single, with her remembering your being another overbearing Christian.

Step 3: Acts speak louder than words; Gandhi actually said that he loved Christianity, and would become a Christian if other Christians actually practiced what they believed. Treat her lovingly, as a child of the Living God, regardless of her beliefs. Love her even if she never believes. Look at her with pure eyes, a pure heart, and the desire to give your friendship and your companionship to her.

Step 4: Answer her questions honestly and without put-downs. I'm not implying you intentionally would put her down, but we do have to watch that we not become proud, that we should boast only in Christ. Be graceful, thankful, and humble, when you talk Christ.

Step 5: Spaghetti is pretty run-of-the mill. Get creative. Use some multi-grain fusilli and a crab alfredo sauce.

Well, as for the spaghetti, make it for her, and show her how much you REALLY enjoy it with lots of 'oh man, this is my FAVORITE' and so ons, if you don't want to just come right out and say it that is. As for the atheism, well, you can always have benign philosophical conversations, but most atheists I know have deap-seated reasons for their belief, usually beyond spirituality, and preaching at them sends them in the wrong direction. Lead by your example like a good Christian and don't drown her in your beliefs, and hope for the best. If it was meant to be, then your god will make it happen, right? It's not your job to save her, even if you care for her very much. Good luck with the pasta!

Why must The Flying Spaghetti Monster have to deal with YOU people.

I, a pastafarian, scoff at your belief that non-believers will go to hell and you could possibly be headed to Heaven.
LoL @ that nonsense.

Uhm, about the spaghetti, just tell her. I don't think it's a large issue.

As for being an intolerant boyfriend.
If you can't be her without trying to tell her that what she believes is inferior to your belief then you shouldn't be with her. You're just going to get her angry and eventually she'll realize that you will never accept her and love her fully.

Make some baked lemon chicken and rice for her and discuss spaghetti and religion.

You can try converting her if it's that important to you. If she doesn't take to your beliefs than thats just who she is and you need to decide how much that really matters to you. If you can't deal with the fact that she doesn't share your principals than thats your fault. If it bothers you that much than you will probably have to break up with her and find someone you can love based on what you believe; does this sound as stupid to you as it does to me? accept her for her, not her beliefs. and if you don't like penne than maybe you should burn in hell.

Penne is better for you, listen to your girlfriend. Tell her to cook it longer ... not everyone loves al dente lol

Oh, and the other thing ... never tell anyone they are going to burn in hell, Jesus didn't and you shouldn't either

Maybe the two of you just need to accept the fact that the world was undoubtedly created by a Flying Spaghetti Monster.
