can anyone give me some advice about kidney stones?

my partner isnt well just now cause he has kidney stones but has seen the doctor & has been given medicine for it, im unfortunately far from him as he stays different country just now so i am tryin to gather as much info as i can

kidney stones can cause horrific pain, the best way to avoid them is to drink adequate amounts of water every single day, at least 2 liters. Once you have one it is time to see a urologist to decide on treatment. Don't leave them go, they cause repeated urinary tract infections that can eventually lead to kidney failure.

Cranberry juice, any flavor, as much as you can drink. Doctors have recommended it for decades.
