Oh, I like this avatar much better.

I believe in God because of my own personnel experiences with him. There are events/ moments in my life, that could only of happened if God existed. There were times when his presence was SO right there, that I could not believe him not to exist if I tried. It would never be enough to convince any one else, and I don't much care. I was there, I lived it, so I believe it, and everyone else can believe what they wish.

The people who seem to believe in God seem to be happy that their problems are solved for this life.

The people who are not convinced of this continue to find their own happiness, but also are still solving their issues - more likely active about it.

I am a seeker, not sold on God even though I was brought up Christian. I have lost at things where you make promises to God too many times. It has led me to question this Christian approach to everything. I am beginning to find that religion itself is a crutch that keeps people from solving complex issues.

I want to believe in a God, but for now I am happiest discovering what makes all the religions tick.

Remember, if you had been born in another country to other parents you would never believe in what you were told as a child where you are now.

I believe in a higher power because this universe and beyond is so amazing. It is just wrong for us to be part of it and not to have a greater purpose.

Also, whatever this higher power is it has to be good, or our lives would be so much worse. If you look closely to everything that happens in your life you'll see that everything does fit together, and everything does work out for good in the end. Really pay attention to this, it is true! That is what I think.

I came to believe in God through faith, but as i grew older i realized that the physical world around me was also proof of God existince. My teachers used to tell me in science class that atoms are what make up everything in the universe...yet the question i had always was where did all these atoms, electron, protons, molecules etc..come from, because anyone with common sense knows nothing can come from nothing. whatever an atom, or molecule does it's because it needs to. God has always existed and unlike us he is not in the fabric of time, he is in time and outside it. God did not create the physical world because he needed to, but because he wanted to. The Scriptures tell us he created All things for his pleasure..he created us because he's a loving God, and to be Loving and have no one to love is pretty depressing. You wanna know something else amazing, the bible tells us things that people claim to have discovered themselves. For example The Earth being round, everything made up of atoms and such, our earth hovering in space, all kinds of things.

I believe in God because there is no other name as powerful. Jesus has made a REAL impact on my life. I have heard testimonies from other Christians, former Buddists, and even sorcerers that once worshipped the devil on how God impacted and changed their life. The once devil worshipper is now a great pastor in Peru with a wonderful congregration. He has forgiven my sins, saved my marriage, and set me free out of the bonds of satan.

I'm an atheist because of the complete lack of any evidence to support there being a god. Also the fact that all the major religions holy texts are rather suspect in their origins.

I do believe in God because he is real. I have seen several things happen to family members. My son did not believe and our preacher told him that if he wondered if God was real than he should ask God to reveal himself and god did just that. It was such a testimony to all of my family to see how real god was when he showed him. I was always told God was real but when you ask god to reveal himself he will in mysterious ways. I challenge you to ask God to reveal himself to you ,and then you will not wander anymore. Good Luck!

I believe in God because He is my Father, He is my savior, and has done so much for the world, and me. I don't need scientific proof to know that he's there. I have Faith in Him, I love Him, I trust Him, and I follow Him. I believe in Him because He is there, He gave me the gift of life, and loves me, just as He loves everyone else. Not only has He done so much for everyone, but He gave His only son to die for ours sins so we could eternally live in paradise.

I do not believe because there is no proof of a god. I do not believe anything just because someone else says it is true. When you look back through history you see that all religions from the very first through our current ones always have common themes. They have rules of morality. They give answers to things science can't yet explain. They give people the warm fuzzies of what comes after this life.

The more I learn about history, Science, biology, Anthropology, Genealogy, Psychology, Sociology, Gerontology, Theology and Parapsychology I see patterns arise that lead me to believe in my heart, mind and soul that there is indeed a higher power!

Blessings!
