why in the world hasnt god figured out a plan to help children who are starving to death, being child abuse victims, sexually toturted-why doesnt god have a budget for that?

22:28-29 NLT
If a man is caught in the act of raping a young woman who is not engaged, he must pay fifty pieces of silver to her father. Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he will never be allowed to divorce her.
What kind of lunatic would make a rape victim marry her attacker? Answer: God.

Scott, you didnt answer the question. And there is no question about who the big boys are in the religion department. We know who has the most money.

It makes me wonder what God invests his money in. Large amounts of money need to be active, they can not sit still and hold valiue so religions must be investing in something.
If we had any way of knowing that it would tell us much more than just how much they are pulling in as contributions.

First, saying the "religious industry" is a "...trillion dollar industry" is wrong and a bit loaded. Under the umbrella of a broad term like "religious industry" you could include quite a bit. Next, God helps children every day, and man chooses to allow children to starve everyday. God wills all people to help feed his children and protect them, but since he gives us the freedom to choose our actions, not all people follow His will. The thing I don't understand, is why the answer is so complicated for you.
IN RESPONSE: I did answer the question, you just didn't like the answer. The blind are usually like that. Way to defer to "big bad religion" and whatever you mean by the "Big boys". The truth is you are spouting off about things you know very little about. You can't even define religion. Grow up.

If you read the Bible it explains why bad things happen especially if you read in Deuteronomy about the blessing and the curses. The things that are happening, staving people abuse murder rape etc are all predicted in the Bible

What the text actually says is as follows from the KJV
28If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;
29Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days.
30A man shall not take his father's wife, nor discover his father's skirt.
It does not say the man rapes her it says if he lays with her. There is a big diffrence. You need to stop trying to twist the scripture to fit your own agenda
