*Infection with the bacteria Heliobacter Pylori
*An autoimmune disorder called pernicious anemia
*Chronic bile reflux

Treatment is dependent upon the cause of the inflammation.

I know Celiac DIsease is an autoimmune disease that leads to chronic flattening of the villa in the intestines and causes overall body inflammation as the antibodies go crazy in the body.
