k here it goes.. this weekend we had my brothers wifes baby shower to go to.. my sister thought it would be a good idea if we all went up together in my van.. she said she knew how to get there because she used to work up near there. so when we started out i said okay what way do we go... she said she know how to get there so. as it turned out almost an hour into driving she had the road all wrong and we went the wrong way. mind you we had a printed out map that was provied for us. she was looking for hunting pike but what we wanted was hunting rd. well that was a real pain in the ***. minf you i wanted to leave at 1pm to give up a good amount of time just incase something like this were to happen and IT DID! the shower started at 2 by the way.
i pulled over and asked someone where hunting rd was and we had to turn back around and go the other way. i was not happy but didnt say anything. then my sister yells there there it is turn so i turned ral fast and she flipped out on me

more..... so i said dont yell at me its your fault we're late in the first place and she couldnt believe that i blamed her for that.. she was suppoed to know where we were going. we had a whole car full of people and presents... it was b.c of her we didnt leave at 1. she didnt get to my house until 1:20 or so and said we didnt need all that time b.c she knew where she was going. after i blamed her for not knowing how to read a map she was more mad.. is is my fault i should have at least looked at the map or is it her fault b.c miss big mouth should learn how to read a map and not tell people she knows shere shes going when she doesnt??LOL man i was sooo mad i hate being late.

i always have problems with her. she drives me nuts. i do love her and i know if anything ever happend to her i would be crushed but some times it gets real annoying!! i just needed to vent. by the way for the one man i did have a map my stupid *** didnt read it because my sister said at least 5 times no no i know where we're going i wokred up here for years.. so i trusted her.. my fault!

It sounds like the real issue is bad communication between you and your sis. The incident with the baby shower is over and it doesn't matter whose fault it was. Move on, learn from your mistakes.
Next time: look at the map before you leave, tell your sis to be at your house 20 minutes before you actually plan on leaving, don't get so distracted while driving.

AH!! Sisterly Love. In the big overall picture of life this is just something that when you both are older will look back and have a good laugh. Dear, don't let a silly thing as this ruin the bond between you both and the family. Next time just get a free map from mapquest.com. They set it up just like the Road service companies (door to door) maps.

Seems like you already know she is ditzy. Next time do not listen to her and do your own thing. Tell her clearly... If you are not here before one.. Find your own way there. No blaming or temoper tantrums bec you told her the condition
