A) So many lives could be saved if everyone would simply donate their organs upon their death, or upon the deaths of their loved ones. It doesn't make any sense to me for perfectly usable organs to be buried or cremated along with a body that can no longer use them. Science has given us the ability to transplant organs, so why not use it.

B) Same as A.

C) In the interest of saving space and the cost involved, cremation makes the most sense to me.

Organ and blood donation are charitable gestures. a good thing.
As far as cremation and burial, the same thing happens to the body only one happens at a much faster rate than the other. Therefore it makes no difference .

a) Ivew see a few too many programs involving doctors that prematurely harvest organs from people who are not quite dead yet... Being a motorcyclist, I can just imagine lying on a gurney, not being given attention as they hope I will expire so they can harvest my parts and make more money...

b) contracted Hep C as a child, so they refuse to accept my blood. I'd do a transfusion if required to survive.

c) Cremation - leave more space on earth.

human life is precious and of great value, its preservation one of the most important responsibilities of mankind, because it was gifted to us, entrusted to us.. thus we are bound to treat it with great care..

organ and blood donation serve to protect, preserve and improve human life.. such opportunities should not be wasted..

in essence our lives and bodies belong to nature and its maker.. we came from the earth, and we obtain our nourishment from it freely.. what better more respectful way to honor this gift than to return our bodies to the earth after death? cremation is neither a natural nor a logical end to the human life (or body)..
