You're depressed, see someone, talk to someone, take some medicine. But most importantly get some rest and try to relax. Give your mind a break, but only for a little while. Take a week off from your busy schedule and reevaluate who you are and what you want with your life. Do something fun, call an old friend. Get some exercise. Just take everything off your mind and just be. You'll be amazed at how much stress you'll release. The next week go back to class and take things easy. Always remember to breath and just know that you're never trapped in anything. Find what you want to do, make a goal and go for it.

hi:
I'm really sorry to hear that you aren't doing to well. I'm a fourth year in college, and I know exactly what it's like to not want to go on living or doing what you've been doing anymore.
College is tough, relationships, classes, substance abuse, just being tired it draining enough. But trust me, it will get better.
Try doing something you've never done before. For me, it was joining Poetry Slam. For others it's sports or hobbies. One of the best things I found was just taking all of your anger, sadness, and worries out on paper. It doesn't have to be perfect or well put together.
With writing you can scream, swear, and get pissed at the world.
Doing physical activity also helps. go for a run. or if you hate running go for a bike ride. ****, just get out and breathe.
You can even just talk to one of your friends. If you don't have anyone you think you can trust, there are a lot of resources on your college campus that you might not be aware of. Many colleges offer free therapy sessions to students as well as group sessions to help you see that you aren't the only one.
Remember, though you have it bad, it could always get worse. and even if you have a bad day, there is always someone out there who would love to have a life like yours that is blessed in so many different ways. Not many people have the chance to go to college or even have a computer.
Life is tough my friend. But there are alot of people out there that care about you and would love to talk to you about it.
Check out this link. It's where I go to chat and check out other people's stories. It helps to get things into perspective.

Keep your head up! good luck.
Warm Regards-

you don't escape life. no matter where you go, or what you do to "escape" it, life is there with you, always. Running away never solved anything either. Suggest that you are going thru a tough period right now, keep your eye on the horizon at this time, know that the tough spots prepare us for the good ones. Without them, we would not know what a good period is for us.

I'm not gonna say I know how you feel, cuz I'm not you, but I've had similar feelings.
Life is kinda shitty sometimes, and sometimes you just have to wait it out, and it will get better eventually.
That's what people tell me. You're hearing from someone who already has one suicide attempt under her belt. I know what it's like to want everything to just go away, and I wish I could help you more, but all I can do is offer a listening ear. Sometimes it helps to talk to a complete stranger. Sometimes it doesn't, but it's worth a try
All my best wishes,
Cassandra

You can run away from your college, friends, parents, ... but how could you run away from yourself? Life is hard, sometimes, boring, upsetting, even horrible or empty: it's up to you give it a meaning and make it a full and wonderful experience: the Key word, as for me, is LOVE: love for yourself first of all.
Forgive my bad English, I hope you will understand my answer.

Try seeing a therapist and maybe taking an antidepressant.
Or read It's Kind of a Funny Story by Ned Vizzini- you might be able to relate to the main character.

Don't take it so seriously. You'll never get out of it alive...
I know that's probably not what you want to hear. Here's a hug - OOO Try Lexapro and a therapist. What a difference a year makes, with those 2 things. whew

What you really want to escape is having problems. It's possible, I did.... via spirituality.
Spirituality isn't about transcending out of here, it's all about being here.
The way is laid out in perfect clarity by Taoism, Zen, Buddhism and Self inquiry....
It's all the same, simple truth.

Why not take a semester off to re-evaluate what you want to do in life. There is no escaping life, but you can take a break every once in a while to take stock and see how you want to move forward.
