What month is the best to get married in? March, April or May?? And why?

Go with whatever month you want. All the other comments made some very good points. Just some other things to think about. It seems as though you want a spring wedding. Decide if you want a Friday night, Saturday or Sunday wedding. Then look at the dates that appear. You may realize a date appears that you don't want to have for your anniversary. Remember your wedding is about the only life milestone you actually plan. Also, if you are Christian check the church calendar as to when Easter appears. You may decide that you don't want to get married during Lent. If you are Jewish, find out when Passover is. so you can avoid possible conflicts. Also look into the flowers that you want and when they are available. Roses are available at all times but some flowers are pricey when it is not their season. Good luck and Congrats!

Depends where you live. In Florida March and April are nice but May is hott. Then again, if you live in Alaska you are looking at a whole new set of concerns.

Date-wise, you will want to take into account that most families with school-age children will have their spring break in March and April which can either be a plus or a minus in terms of attending the wedding. (They may not want to use their vacation time to travel to a wedding or if the wedding does not take place druing their spring break they may be unable to take more time off since they already took a week off).
Just something to consider.

Depends on what kind of weather you prefer and where you are located. I'm getting married in November (less than 2 weeks!) and because I'm in LA, the weather is expected to be sunny and 75 degrees. And because it's not during the "wedding season" it's easier to get the good vendors at the decent price.

But I would say out of those three months May would be your best bet. April has a lot of rain and March could still be pretty cold.

I am of Polish descent and it is supposed to be bad luck to marry in May. I don't totally believe the "old wives tales" but I have too many conflicts with it anyway.
It depends upon what you like more than anything. I am in the northeast and I would avoid march because the weather could still be iffy (snow is unlikely later in the month but not impossible). April would be nice. Warmer, more spring flowers coming up - - great for pictures in a park.

Hi. It depends on where you live!!

I live in the Midwest (Michigan) so March and April would be terrible (weather wise). May would be OK.

If you live in any of the "sunshine" states.....Arizona, California, Florida, Hawaii, New Mexico, Nevada.....anytime would be good! Perhaps you live in Canada or the UK???

There really is no "best month" to get married. It all boils down to venue availability, vacation time for the couple, etc.

What weather do you want? Cold? warm? Most everyone wants a spring (march to may) wedding in the states or europe due to the fact that the flowers are in full bloom and the weather is a perfect cool and warm combination. The next favorite is an Autumn wedding (sept to Nov.) due to golden leaves

If you want to cut costs it is said winter months are cheapest in the states as everyone does not want to leave home in the intense cold so its not very popular. Getting married in the beach is also cheaper supposedly.

The biggest factor will be your schedules/fiance's schedule and weather. For instance, if you're wanting an outdoors wedding, then you'll want to think about weather where you live. We can't tell you which month is best since weather depends on geography! Spring time is a very popular month since the flowers are in bloom and usually (in most parts of the country) the weather isn't toooo hot yet. Again, the first thing you need to do is sit down with your fiance and work out what is best for your schedules....then go from there.

It would depend on where you live. Where I live the best month out of those would be may because it is the warmest and most of the snow is gone by then.
If you are not sure which month to get married in, look at the venues you want to use and see when they have openings. You can also look at the flowers you want and see when they are in season.

I got married on April 28th of this year. The honeysuckle outside my home bloomed the morning of my wedding. It smelled so wonderful! I used Easter colors and since Easter had already passed I got good deals on all sorts of decorations. The weather was perfect, sunny and warm, but not stifling hot.

It depends on where you are and what is the wedding plan? you want shining day, not burning day. It need to be sufficiently cool to enjoy outdoor wedding, but not cold.

So northern hemisphere, April, May, part of June will be good as the environment is pretty. Southern hemisphere, it is opposite.

Pretty environment is always good for gathering and express yourself.
