You could have quoted Richard Dawkins, emulated the arguments of Sam Harris, or pointed to the philosophical problems delineated by Daniel Dennett or Neil deGrasse Tyson.

because theistic beliefs have dimmed down thier capacity for rational thought.
if the girl in the commercial had rationalized that she needs to fight back "now" maybe she would have escaped with her life or at least died honorably by fighting back.
