I mean, why not? Get all of the self righteous Muslims, Christians, Jews, and anyone else who thinks their religion is the only right one - together in a giant cage match, and let 'em battle it out til they're all dead? Then, the rest of us, who believe in tolerance of other's beliefs, and prefer to solve problems through non violence/non hatred can enjoy life without worrying about somebody bombing us. What do you think? Oh - btw - since it's my idea, I get 60% of the pay-per-view take!

Socrates - just because I believe in non-violence doesn't mean that everyone else does, hence my suggestion that those who DON'T slug it out...
tcjstn - why is it intolerant to state this question? I didn't suggest gathering everyone up and making them do it, just offering everyone the opportunity to if they want to...
Kylee (and others) - if you believe that everyone who doesn't accept Christ as their saviour goes to hell, isn't that a form of intolerance?
Everyone - Lighten up! This Q was meant only to foster dicussion, not criticize or implicate anyone...

Wow! This must be the most loaded Q I've ever seen! Good grief! I don't think I'll express any opinion, other than to say I wish for peace in the world.

the term "self-righteous" is the most important factor of this scenario, because only those kind of religions would participate in it. but as for intolerance...if someone doesn't want to follow God (Jesus Christ) I don't force them to. i will press the matter a little to change their decision, but if they don't want to...they don't want to. yet if someone calls themselves a Christian and does not live according to the way taught by Christ I can't tolerate that anymore than God can. they better change or stop saying they believe. but all mankind needs to belong to God and this is because the Bible itself teaches that Jesus is the only way. no one comes to God without going through Him first. so as a follower of Christ i know this to be true. obviously not everyone will agree to this. but if you say you tolerate others peaceful beliefs then will you tolerate the evil ones too. i know that you are thinking of the peaceful ones, but what about the destructive ones? they always come hand in hand because that is man. we cannot escape our nature to destroy ourselves. if you leave things up to man alone you get death in the end and you know this. man's normal tendency is not toward peace, but evil. history shows this to be true and how has God helped? He gave us moral law because until God intervened and created in our hearts the common sense we have in this modern country of America, that originally came from the Bible, like the ten commandments and other laws. we the understanding why it is vile and wrong to have sex with your mom, dad, brothers, sisters, kids infact they would still be around if God had not told man that those acts were wickedness. the main reasons israel destroyed the civilizations written about in the book of joshua is for those reasons and other totally vile and disgusting acts even worse than the ones that i mentioned. so think about america...if there was no law here at all, would you go out? just driving on the roads in LA would be a very life and death thing! LOL imagine that no traffic lights, speed limit, etc. and that is only driving around. what about everything else. i thank God everyday for law and order because some countries don't have that and it is a very hard life there for those people. now we all have to realize that the real enemy is not religion it is Satan. it has always been him at the core of evil. so there will be a smackdown at the end...just make sure your opponent isn't God cuz He never loses and he coming to clean house. we must be intolerant of somethings if we are to survive as a species. right?

You forgot to include atheists. Don;t they believe that they are right too? I am a Christian and I am tolerant of others' beliefs. I don't try to convince you to think or believe the way that I do, I simply DEFEND my beliefs and try to explain to others with different beliefs why I feel the way I do. How is that being intolerant?

Tolerant are you? Seems pretty intolerant of you to state this question...but either way, you do realize 666 has no significance whatsoever? It's not cursed or anything...
Lastly, it will happen, and God will win. It's called The Battle of Meggido.

Maybe because Christians are LOVING,
and we ARE tolerant.
However, yes, we do believe our religion to be the only way to Heaven.
But I love everyone, regardless of their religion,
because God does, too.
Who am I to judge others?
That wouldn't make sense because TRUE Christians
don't want to hurt anyone.

The big "Smackdown" as you would call it is coming. It has already been planned. We also already knows who is on the winning side. You still have time to join the team!
Thank you Jesus!!
