Shower first..enjoy it!

I do floor first so that I can run the tiles under the wall tiles. This makes for a better looking joint and no need to cut the floor tiles to fit up against the wall. Just put paper down to protect the floor while doing the walls. But its just a matter of preference.

I'm not sure it makes all that much difference. I did the walls first then the floor. If you do the floor last you don't have to worry about damaging it by dropping tools or tile on it when you do the walls. That is the only advantage I see

Floor! the walls will be more expensive, and you could always tile the floors then paint the walls for now

I would tile the shower wall first so you don't drop anything to ruin the new floor.

ur right, the wall must go first; then the floor! because if you tile your floor first, then, when you are tiling the wall, the dirt from the wall will fall through the floor, so you have to tile the floor again. so, to prevent tiling 2 times, you must tile the walls first!!! happy tiling!! ^_^

id do the wall first but not because of a mess. you can clean up everything with water. i would do the wall first because if you did the floor first how would you stand in the shower to do the walls? you shouldn't be standing on freshly laid tile.

You do the shower wall first, then the floor. That way the floor doesn't get all messed up.

Do the walls first so when you do the floors you don't have to worry about anything dripping or dropping on the brand new floor!
