Obviously doing it in public is not nice for both...but I'm on about around friends and family.....it's natural

well no one says 'oh that's so un manly-like' and like I said, it's fine when anyone burps, it's natural....as long as they don't do it in public

Unfortunately burped in a railway carriage, in which there was an elderly couple and myself. The gentleman remarked " How dare you burp in front of my wife". I replied" sorry , didn`t know it was her turn first"
The old ones are the best.

Because men are fat, lazy pigs with no manners, and everyone expects them to behave like the emo-pigs that they are, but women are beings of good manners and taste, so everyone are taken by surprise when they deviate from this behavior by burping or farting in public.

A work colleague who is usually quite ladylike occasionally burps and it always cracks me up because its so not like her. I burp in front of others but only ones I feel comfortable with, and usually by accident.

It's not OK for anyone to burp in public, or with family and friends, it's crude and disgusting, period...excuse yourself if you must burp.

Not nearly as bad as my former boss Karen. She used to phart during meetings. And we had wooden chairs.
I don't know what she was eating (female body builder) but the smell could fight its way upwind in a hurricane.
