Either his heart is broken because his girlfriend broke up with him, or you really do have a nice butt. Whatever his reason for doing it, it's very inappropriate and you should nip it in the butt (pun intended). Talk to HR before it gets out of hand....(again, pun intended).

Not enough information to fully understand your working environment. If you work at a strip club, then maybe it's ok. If you work at a law firm, then maybe it's not. In any case you can quit and not have to deal with it, or you can assume pain and suffering, file a law suite against the company, wait 2 years for legal processing, and maybe get some money out of it.
Either way, it sounds to me like the picture you have painted for this question is very incomplete. Maybe you're just young and naive, so maybe this is your welcoming call into the real world, where you must stand-up for yourself, and not let anyone out there (including co-workers, supervisors, presidents, CEO's, chief of staffs) take advantage of you for any reason what so ever. Sure, there is a big swing in this country that says that money equals power, but it's not true, because in the end you are face to face with another human being that comes from the same birthing process as you, and both of you have equal rights under the constitution of this country. Next time this happens, kick him in the balls and see how he likes being abused.

If you fail to respond to this in a way that discourages future similar comments, then you're encouraging the behavior. I don't know about your work place, but this isn't allowed and is considered sexual harassment in most places. Over the long haul, environments where these kinds of comments are allowed to persist, there is a very negative impact on self-esteem.
At first you may find is cute and funny - even flirtatious and "ego boosting", but just picture if the guy making the comments was an unattractive bozo..then how would you feel?

It sounds like he likes you, but he needs to be a little more professional in going about telling you. I don't know what kind of guy he is but you should tell him that he is being inappropriate. Don't put it off b/c you think his heart is broke. That is no excuse to be touching you.

It's not nasty it is inappropriate, it is sexual harrassment. You seem to be fine with it since by calling those incidents nasty instead of degrading.

I don't think his heart is broken, lol. I don't think he is in love with you or infatuated. I think he is just plain harassing you sexually, and you must not let him get away with it! It's never acceptable.
