People seem to think that because we have a small population we are a small country and I have heard visitors in Sydney talking about hiring a car to make a day trip to Uluru. They would not consider asking in New York about a day trip by car to the Grand Canyon. Australia is bigger than Europe and bigger than the contiguous USA.
