There are plenty of hotels that offer transportation to the port, but I don't think any of those would offer shuttles to and from LAX - is that where you're flying in?
I'd first check the Comfort Inn in Long Beach, they definitely offer port shuttle:

I just went through the exact same thing this past May. We stayed one night in LA and then took Carnival Cruise Lines to the Mexican Riviera. It was impossible to find a hotel that would take us to Long Beach. We just ended up reserving a car. We picked it up at LAX when we arrived and dropped it off the next day at their Long Beach location. I think we used Hertz, or maybe it was Avis. We arranged transportation though Carnival for our trip from the port to the airport.
Good luck and have fun!

From LAX to the port in Long Beach is about 25 miles. I assume you are going on Carnival, since only Carnival leaves out of Long Beach. All the other lines leave from San Pedro - about 7 miles from the port in Long Beach.
Because of the distance, you will find hotels with transportation to one or the other, but not both. Some of the favorite places to stay in Long Beach pre cruise are:
The Queen Mary Hotel, which is right next door to the Carnival dock. http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b103/ZefH/LongBeachportarea.jpg
The Coast Hotel which is just down the block (see the green arrow). http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b103/ZefH/CoastHotel-LongBeach.jpg
The Hyatt, which is just across the harbor from the Long Beach dock. http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b103/ZefH/SS%20-%20Aq%20of%20the%20Pac/IMGP0156.jpg
You will find that the Long Beach Airport is much closer to the Long Beach dock than LAX. http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b103/ZefH/LBairport.jpg
Two transportation options from LAX to Long Beach include taxi or Super Shuttle. There are of course other transportation options.

you have particularly some excuses... what's incorrect with taking 2 automobiles? this is basically 1hr 45min what's incorrect with Amtrak? Amtrak San Diego --> Amtrak Union Station --> pink Line --> Blue Line --> long sea coast unfastened Passport bus to cruise terminal. = it looks like a team of leaping around, besides the shown fact that it is not in all probability. you're able to check the 15 days Hawaii cruises earlier reserving, this is particularly some water. many human beings appreciate flying to Hawaii and then traveling the islands that way.

Stay at the Queen Mary, it is right next to the cruise port.
Getting to and from LAX you are on your own. Take a taxi.
