i went hiking with like 6 friends and they all walked ahead of me and this guy that i like and then we were just talking and i said that only weird people like me but then he stopped meand said 'so you think im weird?' and i was like 'you like me?' and then he was like 'well i like to um hang out with you and ummm thats not what i meant exactly...' and i was like ' just say you dont like me' and he was like 'i cant' and so we kept on walking and then i told him that i think he's cute and he told me im hot but then we were at the bottom of the mountain and we had to stop talking and now im really nervous about what will happen next time i see him. does he expect us to go out now? and be boyfriend and girlfriend? im so confused. this hasnt ever happened to me...

dont expect anything, when you have expectations it ruins everything. just be cool. continue to be his friend, but let him make the first move. it's ok to be interested in him, but i wouldnt be too forward if i were you. just take it easy, try developing your friendship first and see where it takes you.

First, find a more appropriate word than "like". You didn't "like" and he didn't "like", you SAID something and he SAID something. It'll kill ya in English class so watch out for that one...
Re: the guy you had one little conversation that didn't really go anywhere. You aren't boyfriend/girlfriend you are simply 2 people who spoke and apparently like one another. Where it goes from there is up to the 2 of you.

he's not going to expect you to immediately be hooked up together but it seems as though you both like each other enough to give it a try anyway.....just kiss him next time you see him and it will blow him away....and you'll immediately know where you stand with him....
