alright so they dont like men...i can respect that. i completely empathize with that..
but than why do they go out and by a frickin penis toy or whatever those things are..

It's a false stereotype that lesbians don't like men - true lesbianism is about liking women, not about hating men. Men simply don't enter the equation at all. Think about it - gay men are gay because they like men, not because they dislike women; indeed, most gay men are quite fond of women. So if you want to empathize, put that stereotype behind you.
There is much more to like - or dislike - about a man than just his penis. So a lesbian could like the feel of a penis or dildo, but not like the rest of what a man offers; she could prefer everything a woman offers instead.

this is coming from a straight womans perspective, so it could be totally wrong, but I think it's the men they don't like, not the penis. Just like you fellas, some women see it as a separate thing altogether and can use it like any other useful object...
