According to "end times" doctrine, the anti-Christ is a being that will come to power at the time of the end of the world who will be charismatic and powerful. The person will have the ability to persuade the world its will. During its reign there will be a time of peace and prosperity because everyone will live according to its edicts. Around this time the "rapture" is supposed to take place in which the "true church" of God will be taken, en-mass" into the air and directly into heaven, leaving the rest of humanity to suffer the reign of Satan.

Then at a particular time this being will claim to be either Jesus himself or an equally powerful Deity and give proof of this by displaying super-human or paranormal abilities. There will be persecution of those who have not complied with its edicts. Constant warfare will start. Life will become unbearable, and all of these events will lead to Armageddon, a final battle of every power left on earth which will be interrupted when Jesus returns with an army of angels to destroy everyone involved in the battle. And finally cast the anti-Christ, the devil, and its demons into hell.

Thats what I learned anyway. Whether or not I actually believe it is another story.

There is also a theory that several anti-Christs have and will exist until there is no one left on earth that can combat them. Hitler and I believe Napoleon are said to be two of the anti-Christs.

A weird question. If you mean that all those who do not believe in Christ as "anti-Christ", you have the majority ot the world's population. Then, they are everywhere. Accept the multitude of world beliefs, and be thankful that the majority of these beliefs are an aptness of the document of peace.

the polar opposite and ultimate enemy of Christ. According to Christian tradition, he will reign terribly in the period prior to the Last Judgment. The Antichrist first appeared in the epistles of St. John (I John 2:18, 22; I John 4:3; II John 1:7), and the fully developed story of Antichrist's life and reign is found in medieval texts. As applied to various individuals…

To me, anti christ is a person or a group that teaches things that are wrong. Or evil.
Like a cult leader teaching ppl to kill or die and using Jesus name.
Or a Minister or Priest teaching doctrines that they know are wrong. And not caring.
Any person or group who is in a position of leadership, and uses that leadership to teach evil or wrong things to those ppl who believe in them.
Anti-christ is not just someone doing wrong, it's someone teaching others to do wrong and taking pleasure in the eventual pain and loss that will cause.

There are supposedly three anti-Christs to come before the Apocolypse according to the Bible. People think Hitler was one. I don't know the details, but they are supposed to be powerful leaders who use their powers for evil. I think people also think the first one has already come(Long ago, Ivan the Terrible or someone back then) so that only leaves one more.

Should more correctly be called "Anti-Messiah" and that would be anyone who claims to be the Messiah, or whose followers claim is the Messiah, yet this person did not fulfill all of the prophecies during his lifetime.

If this person also brought about the opposite of what those prophecies are, (such as war, when the prophecies say the real Messiah will end all war, for instance), then this person is certainly the Anti-Messiah.

According to the bible? Technically anyone who was against the religion. Not Satan, Not the "beast." The word doesn't appear once in Revelation.

Historically, John was most likely talking about emperor Nero. Just like most of Revelation is an allegory about the plight of Christians during that time.

He will deceive the world. It could be a human being, not necessarily a beast with two red horns and a tail. Everyone will have some kind of chip installed on them, and they wont be able to buy and sell without this chip.

The anti-christ could already be with us.

There have been many men who were pictures of the false messiah. Pharaoh, Manasseh (the son of Hezekiah), Haman, Antiochus Epiphanes , and Hitler are all considered to be pictures of the one still to come. Pharaoh claimed to be G-d. Pharaoh, Haman, Antiochus, and Hitler tried to destroy the Jewish people. Manasseh set up images to worship in the Temple and Antiochus set up an image of zeus currios with his face on it.
