I'm planning a vacation with a bunch of friends in the middle of November but we can’t agree on the destination. Considering activates, clubs (party for young travelers), site seeing etc. where would you go? Varadero Cuba or Maya Riviera (close to Cancun) Mexico?

Thanks,

The Maya Riviera is a great place to party and sight seeing.

If you like ancient buildings, history and the friendliest people, then Cuba is the place to go. The all inclusive resorts are clean and you can also party. Tours can be taken from the resorts into Havana and other areas of Cuba.

Neither the Maya or Varadero is a boring holiday. I suggest you flip a coin and the one you miss this year, visit next.

If you are a US citizen, go to Riviera Maya (Playa Del Carmen) they have good activities for young travelers. Fifth Avenue is the place.

You can only use cash in Cuba and it's illegal to spend money in Cuba if you are a US tourist. If you are from another country, I don't know the rules traveling to Cuba.)
