the situations is, i am a science person, and i believe in the laws of science are most concrete evidence. I am not an atheist, however, not really into organized religion, so basically agnostic. The girl i like, she is a liberal catholic, who goes to church and believes in her religion. Now i have no problem with that, I respect people's religion and i love to learn about different religions. But I believe that religion is very personal and it create some awkward conflicts between us. Do you think love will overshadow religion or religion will overshadow love in our situation?

There is nothing wrong if you are both from different religions. What matters is that there's respect and acceptance from both.

Love doesn't oversadow religion and vise versa. Every religion talks of love and love is the proof of strong faith in good thing you believe in your religion.

Religion may create conflicts on others but that is based on their own interpretation on things. But if you try to see it, there really is no conflicts with religions--it's just man that makes things complicated.

Remember: acceptance and respect....

ah yes, the religious wars. They usually turn really ugly when the kids come along. If you are able to work around your problems now, then you may have a chance.

The main thing, despite your differences, you both need to respect (not agree with) each others opinions in this matter. As long as you can agree to disagree and still have respect for each other, then your relationship will work.

the truth is that love overshadows religion because "religion" (I can't stand that word) is supposed to be based out of love. But if you don't understand God than it will ultimately be conflict between you.

If you read the bible it tells you. Or if you watch a movie about marriage or something it tells you. Love doesn't overshadow religion and religion doesn't over shadow love.
