I've run into people who have told me we have spirit guides. If so how do you make them come forward. I certainly need guidance at this point in my life.

I have a problem with this. Mainly because I wouldn't trust anyone here on THIS side to be my spirit guide, and that's people I can see and listen to with my own eyes and ears.
So just because someone dies, and goes over to the other side, suddenly they are all wise, compassionate, knowing, and honest?
Don't think so.
I figure I have a soul that was breathed into me by my Creator, thus is the very Essence of my Creator, so I am never separated from my Creator, and I need no intermediary whatsoever to access my Creator and obtain guidance.

I believe in spirit guides , but perhaps differently from most
spirit guides I am told are for the sole purpose of mediumship development
spirit guardians are those who would help you in life and walk with you
then we have just spirits in general , who are also there to help
whatever you wish to call them though , they dont mind
just reach out to them and trust

Lots of meditation. While in a calm and quite state, as them to speak to you. You also may want to try automatic writing, ask them to come through you and write what they feel you need to know.
Remember, be respectful to them, and know that this takes lots of practice and patience with yourself.

a born again christian recieve the spirit of truth, love and anointing for gifts and power.
that is whom you ought to get your guideance.
the fruits of anointed christians is love,wisdom from above.
the other side..darkness, deception, lies..ect.
may look like a good light, but it's false.
one will speak truth..hope
other will speak a hint of fear, greed, false hope.
GOD is patience, gentle.
satan is forecful..yet, pretend to be patience.
like sheep image but wolve under it, as in selfish, greed, prideful.
yet..don't leave out natural human nature..flaws.
the bible is written and still speaking..love,hope..trust in GOD (faith). yet there are warning signs of endtime..which is not yet, but in our lifetime..is a sure thing..so we got a few decades.
each of us has a guardian angel.as well the evil one too.
