If it makes YOU feel better to tell the truth.......why not?

i do realize that i may have hurt someones feelings before but why should others emotions matter more than your own.

i dont mind telling the truth because it is sooo liberating. when i tell my boyfriend the truth, it feels good to me, he may be upset but i would rather that instead of him feeling betrayed and like he cant trust me because i lied.

im not perfect and i did lie to him before but i found out the hard way what it felt like to him. he was so hurt and he almost wouldnt forgive what i did only because i lied. he said if i was honest with him it would have helped a little bit.

we all know we are wrong when we lie. thats what i dont wish to do anymore. i am willing to take the consequence for every action i pursue and have decided that i will not lie to cover what i may have done but instead, i will not do anything worth lying over. i have been completely honest for the last year or so and i notice, all people are not weak enough to deserve a lie.

If it makes you feel better to tell a lie, does that make you a punk, just taking the easy way out?

he called me a coward and a punk for like 2 weeks, i said fine then you get the truth no matter what, but its actually been quite refreshing.

Being honest can be confrontational.

"Honey, do these pants make my butt look big?"

Answer: No
Honest Answer: No, your butt is always that big.

i totally agree and if you could stay honest for a year and managed it then i dont find any reason why i cannt do the same, ill start from today, thanks

its always better to be truthfully. i know this now. i lied, until it got deeper and deeper, then blew up.
