I like those all-inclusive deals. Like in the Carribbean or Mexico, you can get all-inclusive honeymoon packages at fancy resorts and spas. That's what we are doing and the price is reasonable. Ours cost $4,000 for flight, resort accommodations, food and beverages are included as well as some packages like snorkeling, sight seeing, etc. Go to Expedia.com and click on "all-inclusive."

I'm sure this isn't the answer you're looking for, but, you have to decide what you want, then, narrow it down from their.

Do you want something exotic....Thailand or The Maldives?
Do you want the European experience....France...Spain?
Do you want an active sporty holiday.....Switzerland in the winter, hiking in the U.S. somewhere or Canada.
Do you love animals and nature...The African Plains.
Do you want something easy and cheap......The Caribbean and many U.S. cities.

How long do you have. If you have a short time (like a week or less), then, travelling more than 6-8 hours would be a drag. A tip to the states or Canada or the Caribbean is your best bet. If you long on the west coast, Hawaii is an option. On the east, parts of Europe are too. Mexico would also be amazing!

If you have a full 2-4 weeks, then travelling farther away makes sense. A place like Thailand, parts of Africa and even Europe depending on the season is an option.

Are you all-inclusive types or independent travellers? You can get all-inclusives and travel independantly anywhere, but, if you don't have time to research and plan and indepenant trip might not work out as well as you'd like.

I hope that helps.

Kenya was the most amazing place ever. We stayed at a beach 'resort' where you step out the door of your luxury hut right onto the beach, with cooked breakfasts, three course meals served twice a day and afternoon tea on the veranda, stunnign cocktails available whenever you fancy and barely another soul in sight - just sea and sand and well, whatever else you think you might like to get up to on your honeymoon! The owner would even pick up anything the guests needed when she went out in the boat to get the food supplies - think of the film 'the beach' with a luxurious twist! After that we spent a night in a hotel in a small town on the otherside of the island, where they gave us a free bottle of bubbly when we arrived, and arranged a trip last minute to show us a turtle nest hatching. THEN we stayed for a few days in a tented camp just outside the Mara, going for game drives as often and for as long as we liked - being fed loads of food, with hot water bottles at the foot of the bed at night, and masai warriors to guard us from the roaming lions! We saw so many exciting things and had all the time in the world to do whatever we wanted.

GREECE. Love the little islands and so much history. Very relaxing.

FRANCE. Not in Paris but outside, think more Normandy. I love touring wineries. You could stay at a winerary or a lot of bed and breakfasts have tour guides they can set you up with. You wouldn't even have to drive.

MEXICO. I love cozumel. It may be my favorite place on earth. great snorkeling, very relaxing. Mexico has lots of great resorts though--not just in cozumel.

For Caribbean Islands go to St Thomas. I love it.

CRUISE. I love cruises. You have a room and each time you want to walk outside you are in a whole new country. You can go to art shows or just lay out on the deck.

NYC-so much to do and see in NYC it's not even worth beginning to list all of them--but a week in NYC could go over your budget.

You enjoy skiing (and having a winter wedding)? Go to Utah. www.skiutah.com. Tons of skiing and you can rent cabins really close to the mountains.

Can you give us some help? What time of year? Budget? Anywhere in the world or are some places already out? What do you enjoy doing? I think Ireland is absolutely gorgeous but some would think its too dreary for a honeymoon. And often times chilly. Some people are too fair skinned to like the idea of a beach in the tropics, but I love cruises. So do you have any limitations?

Find a travel agent you trust and talk to them with your fiancee. If they're a good agent, they'll talk to you about what you both like to do and help you narrow things down. Do you like to shop? Lay on the beach? Eat gourmet food every night? Play golf? Do you want to be totally secluded from other people or be in the middle of things? The answers will completely change where you ought to go for a memorable honeymoon - and you might be surprised at some of your fiancee's answers!

Good luck!

We went to the Moon Palace in Riviera Maya, Mexico. It was a little pricey, I don't know how much you are willing to spend. I know many other couples that have been there and have only good things to say. The food is awesome and the rooms are beautiful. We went away after that and wanted something comparable and the travel agent said it would be hard to top it. I think she is right. Splurge, you only get to do it once. Good Luck!

What do you fancy? I'm honeymooning in a manor house in Ireland, completely in the middle of nowhere. But you might fancy being in a city, or being somewhere that you know you'll never get to go to again, or somewhere totally different like the antarctic!

Don't go to Tunisia. We went to the 'best' hotel in the country for our Honeymoon. I spent the last two days with food poisoning.
Joyous :(
