Religion is like a canal...water flowing into predecided route..its future determined
Spirituality is like a hilly rivulet.... finding its way in dense hilly forest... falling, dancing, struggling with stones... yet singing..not even caring where it is going to end.
so canal water is happy in canal... and rivulet water dont wish to be imprisoned in free fall...
let all enjoy their journey...be it religion or spirituality

If you want to discuss spirituality, all you need to do is open up a thread...
Ask a question, and people who think they know the answer will discuss spirituality with you.
For some people, "religion" IS "spirituality"...
For others, "spirituality" is their religion.
Then there are those who delight in a real relationship with a real God.

One of these do not exist without the other. Sprituality is the object and religion is its shadow. The shadow (religion)does not affect the object (spituality); but the object( spirituality) can affect the shadow by its own distortion.(pervertion)
The nature of the religions depend on the quality and philosohy of the spirituality..

yes, we should discuss spirituality rather then religion. they are not one and the same.
Religion is for people afraid of going to hell
Spirituality is for those of us who have already been.

Would be nice, but even more divisive, since there are greater variations in spirituality than religion.

There are various religions.
Their teachings are followed to varying degrees by different individuals according to their beliefs in their own religions.
People are less or more god conscious. Where does spirituality come in.

When it boils down to it, they're pretty much different sides of the same coin.
