E.g. if a dinosaur turned up, it would proove that they were not all wiped out by a meteroite 65 milion years ago

the cealocanth prooved that it did not die out 400 million years ago

Evos always say, if God shows up,
but Creos want to convince you before that time, as by that time their bibles say the books of judgement will be closed, and no appeals wil bne heard after that

so going back to science, what evdience does either side think will proove creo hands down?

i.e. dino skeletons are proof of dino's

what concrete proof would either side deem to be irrefutable?

thanks

A pre-Cambrian rabbit.

To disprove evolution it is very very simple.

All you have to do is to find one fossil that is in the wrong place. For example, finding a rabbit fossil in a pre-Cambrian strata where there should be no mammals at all.

But strangely enough every single fossil that has ever been found has been in the strata that supports evolution. Simple, less diverse lifeforms in the older rocks, more complex, more diverse lifeforms in the newer rocks.

Since there is already enough evidence to disprove YEC creationism I doubt any new evidence would change their minds. As for OEC creationists, they are savvy enough to keep altering their god to fit him into the gaps science has not explained yet. Eventually they will have a fractal god: infinite surface area, zero volume as it fits into the vanishing gaps.

Is the ceolocanth a land dwelling, reptilian dinosaur?? Maybe thats why it didnt die out when a meteor struck earth - because it was already living in the cold, dark depths of the oceans, which were unaffected by the loss of sun light, as no light penetrates that far regardless...

There is NO EVIDENCE that will prove Creationism. NONE. ZERO. ZIP. ZILCH. NADA. Comprende?? Pseudo scientists will play with data and bend it and tweak it until it appears to fit with their ridiculous ideas, but real science will always uncover a fraud ala Hovind.

Look around you, study science, there is more than enough to prove creation already. But, if you are not willing then nothing will ever seem enough to you. The fact that God can change a human heart is plenty of proof for me. He took my despairing human heart and put life back in me. He brought me out of the blackness of a nightmare of childhood abuse and gave me the ability to heal and forgive and go on. I am my own miracle. I never could change anything by myself, I tried. So what God has done for me through Jesus is more than enough to convince me.

If you are truly willing, just ask God to show you Himself and I guarantee He will. But, why do you ask your question? If someone could answer your question would you be willing to act on it? If not, stop asking. None of us need pointless, pseudo-religious arguments. They waste all our time.

Biblical "Scientific" Creationism is just lies, and it's proponents have be shown, almost to the last man, to be either liars by fabrication of lies or by propagation of the lies of others. The sad thing is that it has become the religion of so many who abandon the moral lessons in order to claim that Genesis is more than allegory. Biblical Creationism has been disproven.

Since the creos do not all believe the same thing, there is no "one thing" that would convince them.

How about dinosaur bones that aren't completely fossilized?
