So there is this girl who lives with me (she is my room mate) and we have been hitting it off really well. Whenever her ex calls she never tells me who it is and then today we were sitting on the couch watching tv and she said she needed to stretch so she gets up and before you know it her ex shows up. They keep talking for about 45 mins and then she comes downstairs sits next to me and continues like nothing ever happened. What's going on here? Is she playing me...

what do you mean "hitting it off really well"?
maybe she just want to keep her ex-relationship private,
waits for you to ask her,
or she finds it not worth discussing

well maybe shes in a different place than you are right now. i mean you may be reading into things the wrong way. and as for her not telling you whose calling and what happened with her ex for those 45 mins, she just might not want to lay it all out for you and have her own space.

She doesn't want you to jump to any conclusions so she doesn't discuss the Ex so then you think there is a chance w/her. When in reality she maybe playing you to have somewhere to live so your not Mr. Right...You r Mr. Right Now and the Ex is probably looking for a spot they can be together. I give it to her she's good but you have to be better!!!!!

She could just be friends with her ex and that is all. She probably isn't telling you who it is on the phone because she doesn't want to upset you. There is no relationship there so she is able to do what she wants, including talking to her ex and not telling you who it is.

If she is just your room mate, then how can she 'play you'? If you aren't dating her (which obviously your not) then its none of her business who she talks to or who comes over to see her. Sounds like you have more time wrapped up in this 'relationship' then she does.

Well I don't know that you would say she is playing you. I mean, are they two of you dating. you only said that she is your roommate, not your girlfriend. And it sound's like something is going on with her and her ex. If you want her for yourself, you better watch out.

in my opinion, she likes you and knows you like her, but she still has so many feelings for her ex and doesnt want to ruin things with you either... so in this situation she really doesnt know who to pick, the guy she has already developed feelings for and knows it wont work but still wants him, or the guy she could develope feelings with and could work out and she thinks it would... so i guess you could ask her about you 2?
