Be careful for what you pray. If your move a mountain prayer is answered it may be by earthquake, nuclear weapons, volcanic eruptions or some other spectacular force that will leave a lot of destruction in its path. For instance do not ask to end suffering for a person -- the response may be calling the person back to heaven. Choose your words carefully and always know what is in your mind when praying to God. And don't joke about it, you might get an answer that you will regret.

How thoroughly have you actually thought this through? Because I imagine there could be some pretty unpleasant consequences if you were to just move mountains around frivolously.

I can't pray in great faith if I don't know what I am praying for. The "it" that you want to happen may not be something that I want to pray for, you'll have to be more specific if want us to have faith in your request!

As i have said before, there are prayers of affirmation and supplication....just tell god "thanks for moving that mountain!" and know that it will be done.....
and so it is
and btw...religion may be born of fear, but spirit is not....seek out what feeds you spiritually...this is the important thing, not belonging to a group that puts labels and judges &/or condemns.
