Ok, so got a speeding ticket a year ago in MD. I live in CO. according to the Md website, it still shows active, but $0 in all the fines categories. According to responses to a previous question, I was told that it was in the national database and I would be in violation of a suspended license.. I called the MD MVA... they have no record of this ticket at all. I previously lived in MD, and they have all of my past "discretions" on file, but nothing regarding this... so my question... the MVA has no record of this whatsoever.. but is that different from the cops having record?... meaning despite that I am not in any trouble with the MD or CO MVA... do I still have to worry about being pulled over and arrested for suspended license because of an unpaid $80 speeding ticket?

To clarify! There is nothing on record from Md or Co stating that the ticket still exists.. I am still valid in CO as they have not recorded any "failure to pay".. so my question is.. is there a difference between the states motor vehicle admin's and the cops system.. meaning can the cops still have it in there system even if I am fine with both the MVA's of CO and MD?

sensible. Please sight your reference... how and why would they drop a charge from the MVA but then file a bench warrant? I cannot think of any way that makes sense, but it was an interesting thought.. please expand...
also, just so everyone knows.. I would be glad to pay the ticket, but I lost it on the travel back to CO and time passed and now there is no one that seems to know about it... I don't want to get "screwed" in the future for not paying.. but I also want to make sure the credit is put to the appropriate ticket.
