Yes it does and yes He still does.I have faith that He healed me when I almost died a few years ago. I would never expect anyone else to believe it but it is good enough for me.

God exists outside of time. That is why He does not change, because in God's economy of time there is no yesterday, today, or tomorrow. The changes you may perceive are changes that have occurred in man. Man does exist in space and time. I believe that it seems that we see less or almost no miracles today because there are fewer believers. Also the bible does say that those who rely on miracles to sustain their faith do not have true faith. Is it possible that as we get closer to the second coming that we'll see less and less miracles in order to create a more visible separation between believers and non-believers? I think so.

God is the awesome God all the time, the same as before and now - lack of miracles now? Do you want to see the crossing red sea as before? Do you want to see someone like Elijah flies up to the sky as before? Why ? What is the purpose if you want to see it? It does not have the divine intention if we just want to see it. God has miracles at different time and different places is because of His grace. He heals people because He feels mercy on them, but not some because He also feels mercy of their sufferings. God's views are further and much much better than ours. So, what the Lord decides has His will on it.

Are you open to the miracles happening around you or are you busy discounting them through scientific means or just calling it hogwash ? God is busy at work and those who have eyes can see it. Its like the Matrix movie some people want to see and others are doing all they can to stay blind or once they know they will deny the truth and will negotiate with the devil to go back to not knowing. So you are right God does not change, people do!

James 4:2-4 (New International Version)
New International Version (NIV)
Copyright © 1973, 1978, 1984 by International Bible Society
2You want something but don't get it. You kill and covet, but you cannot have what you want. You quarrel and fight. You do not have, because you do not ask God. 3When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.
4You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God? Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.
Are you asking for your own selfish desires, or are you asking for that which will glorify God?

The question you are asking is not a result of God changing but rather the ways of people. You can argue until doomsday about weather miracles happening, but, unless you experience one you have no argument against those who have

Don't know that htere is a lack of miracles, they just aren't reported in the main stream media. There are many walking miracles in our church alone. One woman was healed from stage four ovarian cancer AFTER they stopped all treatments, another was brought back to life after being brain dead for two hours with no ill effects or damage, a child was healed from leukemia after he was given three months to live and is still alive four years later. There are miracles all around us if you actually look for them!

Yes it does say that. His being and character do not change. In primitive areas that are opening up to the Christian faith there are many reports of faith healings. I think there are few in America because we often trust more in our "doctors" than we do in God. We trust our money, our learning. Anyone who really leans on God will see supenatural evidence of His presence and power.
So, where do you stand? Are you just here to criticise? If you don't think Christianity is so great, what can you offer instead?

i find it amusing they say that god doesnt change. however even reading the bible there is a clear difference between the god of the new testament and the god of the old testament.
one loving, merciful, kind, the other murderous and blood thristy.
edit: people claim miracles happen today, but miracles are an event that can only take place through divine intervention. not naturally. sorry but birth is not a miracle nor is healing.

I will tell you what happened to me. My teenage son went to books a Million to read books and I came early to pick him up and was sitting at the table with a guy and playing cards and the cards were Satanic with a bunch of Satanic signs and things on them and I made him get up and admonished him that he should never do this again, two weeks later I go in my son's room to pray over him and as I began to pray this horrible voice began screaming out of my son NO NO NO and my son grab my arms and was hissing at me. I said in a stern authoritative voice, "I rebuke you satan in the name of Jesus" instantly my son said, "Mom." My daughter who is also a teenager heard the commotion was terrified. That night my teenage daughter, my teenage son slept with me because they were frightened.
This stuff is REAL, do not ever doubt it for one second!!
Back in the days when so many miracles were going on, the disciples devoted their entire lives to God and to the work of God. We are too busy!!!
We live in an age of technology and being constantly on the go. How many people are praying, fasting or reading the Bible like they should? We live in a Nation that has kicked God out of our Schools, court houses, homes, etc.
The Bible says whom much is given much is required, right?

okay, there are miracles today. the lack of miracles is in the lack of the believer's faith that the miracle can take place, not God.
