Religious Fundies come in all colors and stripes. When it comes to Religious Fundies throughout the world, they are all equal-opportunity bigots. There is one thing they all have in common: they all are convinced that how they see the problems of the world, their solutions to the problems of the world, what they believe is the "truth" about the problems of the world: the one thing they all have in common is that they are totally ignorant of the fact that THEY ARE THE WORSE PROBLEM the world faces. Religious fundies are a danger to themselves and others. Religious fundies, once they possess power (military, political, economical and social power) they will ALWAYS ABUSE IT, they will always PERSECUTE others, they will always without exception seek ways and means to EXCLUDE ANYONE AND EVERYONE WHO DISAGREES WITH THEM. They will build detention centers to lock dissenters away without a trial or a hearing. They will use any means at their disposal to DISPOSE OF THOSE WHO DISAGREE WITH THEM. So, yeah, like dddaaaaahhHHHHHHHHHH!!! Religious Fundies represent the biggest threat to the survival of human beings on the planet.

I'm a Latter Day Saint(Mormon) and I would say yes. The Fundamentalist Mormons that live in gated communities in Colorado and Utah that you hear about on Television have given the rest of the world the wrong idea about Mormons. When I tell someone I'm Mormon, the very first thing that I am asked is If I have more than one wife. Polygamy is a practice discontinued by our religion in the 1830's.
Fundamentalists also stifle their children's education and that is my reason for saying that they are in fact a danger to humanity.
Good question
Good luck

If placed in a position of politilcal power, these religious fanatics are indeed, a danger to humanity and its existence on Earth., especially if the religion or cult they adhere to specifically calls for forced obedience and submission of all to the will of their god(s). There is no feasible means of eliminating such a destructive ideology completely, but society as a whole must do what it takes to minimize the impact of it and render them and their ideology irrelevant.

Hindu and Muslim fundamentalists/extremists scare me the most. Christian fundies are more of a danger to intellectuality than human life; except those that have bombed, sometimes suicide bombed, abortion clinics right here in the states. That's not considered terrorism by most, for some odd reason.

Religious fundamentalists in the Islamic faith are since they are the group that believes it is in their sacred writings the need to strap bombs to themselves and walk among the innocents to set up a world wide caliph. No Jewish, Christian, Buddhist, Hindi, etc fundamentalist has this agenda or believes in killing others to advance their religion worldwide.

religious human beings reject evolution because of the fact they experience it somewhat is incorrect because of the fact it does not factor in direction of God or because of the fact in the event that they do then they're rejecting God. All religions have considerable gaps in them as does the fossil checklist and the thought of evolution. there somewhat isn't a distinction between religon and evolution because of the fact they the two remember entirely on faith. you're able to believe in evolution to believe in it as you do in faith. additionally a lot of persons are merely ignorant and have not taken the time to completely understand what the different concept states. i believe in clever layout and in God. i do no longer think of the fossil checklist is a correct way of proving evolution because of the fact of ways risky the earth is and how a lot the rock layers are in many cases churned up. i do believe in some factors of evolution, yet no longer all of it. additionally, all you idiots who're asserting that evolution states that persons descended from monkeys, learn YOUR data. Evolution states that guy and monkeys have the comparable ancestor!!!! no longer that persons descended from them. Like I mentioned maximum persons have not studied the two aspects of the contest.
